Meet Misty
Misty is a
graduate of Animal Behavior College
(ABC), & she is a Certified Dog Trainer & Behavior Consultant. She
is an active member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT),
as well as Dog Scouts of America. Misty is a Canine Good Citizen
(CGC) Evaluator for the American Kennel Club (AKC), & holds a
certification from the American Red Cross for Canine CPR & First Aid.
 As
the Vice President of Paws Partners Inc., a therapy dog organization,
Misty enjoys going with the therapy dog teams to visit the sick and elderly
all over the D/FW Metroplex. Since 2007, Misty has worked with the other
trainers at Adventures in Canine Training Inc., where she has a blast
building stronger relationships between dogs and their owners.
Misty is the owner of a spunky Lab mix,
named Lucky. A shelter rescue, Lucky kept Misty on her toes with all kinds
of wacky shenanigans. Today, they are a great training team. Misty loves to
teach Lucky new, unique tricks, which they take to dog camp each year.
Lucky has been her inspiration, and she could never imagine life as trainer
without him.
